Introduction to Qualitative Methods for Quantitative Researchers
Would you like to learn more about how qualitative research methods can support your research? Are you a data scientist or quantitative researcher who would like to know more about collecting and analyzing textual data?
Maybe you’d like to build a survey or plan to do some interviews to support the research you’re already doing?
Would you like to know how to measure something that’s hard to measure such as sustainability or long term impact?
Join Beth M. Duckles, PhD, a mixed methods social scientist and research consultant as she shares an overview of how data scientists and researchers can use qualitative methods in diverse settings. She will share an overview of types of qualitative research, suggestions on collecting qualitative data and what to do with textual data you already have. She will also take the time to answer your questions and point you to further resources.
Live workshop will be held on May 19th from 12 noon PT/3:00pm EST. Workshop will last for 60 minutes and will have time for Q&A.
Everyone who registers will receive a video of the workshop and access to the notes and slides from the event. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
